Birds have always fascinated me. Their songs call to each other to mark territory,
find food, or send alarms. They’ll follow you through the forest to inspect your path and curiosity fills their day when they aren’t eating or sleeping. I’ve been followed by Cardinals, inspected by Crows, awoken by Wrens, and chased by Blue Jays. Each has a unique message.

In these pages lie fleeting bird tales of fantasy and fun. This collection of paintings, drawings, and limericks take us to the imaginary places of their lives. From the songs of the Yellow Warbler to the antics of the Tufted Titmouse, birds have told me many creative stories. My poems are light, funny, and sometimes they are deep.
