Taama trained as a photographer at Texas A&M University where she received her formal training in art and photography.  Afterwards she worked as an architectural photographer for Fusch-Serold and Partners and SHWC.

She continued her photography work as a portrait photographer for HKS, Inc. capturing images in a traditional and free-form style.

Currently, she works as a portrait, special events, and architectural photographer.
